The Metso Nordberg HP Series cone crusher is one of the most commonly used models on the market. Why is it so popular? The following is a detailed analysis of the structure of a Metso cone crusher.
Main Structure
The Metso Nordberg HP Series cone crusher basically consists of crusher, lubrication and hydraulic system, and electronic control system.
1. crusher: The crusher includes: main frame, eccentric bushing, socket liner and socket, head, and bowl, etc.
As the foundation of the crusher, the main frame must possess sufficient strength and stability to withstand the impact and vibration generated during the crushing process. ONA is manufactured from high-quality steel and undergoes a special process to ensure its durability and adaptability to harsh working environments.
2. Lubrication and Hydraulic System: The lubrication and hydraulic systems are integrated into a single housing.
Lubrication System: The lubrication assembly includes: air filter set, oil filter, directional valve, electric motor, float switch, pump, and cooler. 70% of the lubricating oil is used for crusher cooling, and 30% is used for lubrication.
Hydraulic series: The hydraulic system consists of a hydraulic tank (hydraulic pump, drilled block, pressure accumulator, pressure sensor, pressure gauge, filter), clamping cylinder assembly (to prevent the fixed cone from rotating and lifting the locking ring during ore breaking), tramp release cylinder (which can quickly and easily clear the cavity, and the same set of hydraulic cylinders can be used to achieve tracheal release and cavity clearing), a hydraulic motor (rotating the fixed cone, continuously and accurately adjusting the discharge port, and shortening maintenance time), pipelines and an operating box.
