Power Transmission
During normal operation, the toggle plate converts the eccentric shaft's rotary motion into the reciprocating motion of the swing jaw. This transfer creates the crushing force that breaks the rock. The toggle seat jaw crusher interface must maintain precise alignment to ensure smooth motion and even load distribution. Mechanical Fuse and Overload Protection
The toggle plate acts as the crusher's mechanical fuse. When tramp iron or oversized rock enters the chamber, the plate breaks before overload damages the pitman, shaft, or frame.
