1The progressive feeder, also known as a progressive distributor, valve block assembly, or automatic grease distributor, is a critical component in the centralized lubrication system of jaw crushers. In CJ211 jaw crushers, this precision metering device ensures lubricant is delivered accurately and sequentially to all key bearing and friction points. Unlike piston distributors that discharge lubricant simultaneously, progressive feeders supply each lubrication point one after another in a fixed sequence with preset, metered volumes.

Installed within the crusher's lubrication circuit, the progressive feeder receives pressurized grease or oil from the central pump and distributes it through multiple outlet ports to designated lubrication points. Each outlet delivers a fixed volume of lubricant per cycle, ensuring every bearing and sliding surface receives the exact amount required for optimal operation. The feeder operates on a progressive principle: each piston cannot discharge its lubricant until the preceding piston has completed its stroke. This interlocked operation guarantees all connected points are served in a reliable, repeatable cycle. If any section becomes blocked, the entire feeder stops, providing an immediate visual signal of a lubrication fault – a built-in diagnostic feature that helps prevent bearing failure and unplanned downtime.
