1The Adjustment ring is a key component of the crusher, precisely controlling the size of the discharge opening, ensuring a uniform and stable discharge size, and directly determining the specifications of the finished sand and gravel. It is mounted on the upper part of the main frame and screwed onto the bowl assembly via threads. Function: A hydraulic motor is mounted on the Adjustment ring. The rotation of the pinion on the hydraulic motor drives the large ring gear, which in turn drives the bowl assembly. This allows for adjustment of the discharge opening and removal of the bowl assembly for replacement of the bowl liner.

The main functions of the crusher's Adjustment ring:
1. Adjusting the Discharge Opening Size: The adjusting ring precisely adjusts the discharge opening size by changing the gap between it and the bowl. Turning the adjusting ring clockwise will reduce the discharge opening, resulting in a correspondingly smaller crushed material size. Conversely, turning the adjusting ring counterclockwise will increase the discharge opening and increase the material size.
2. Compensating for Wear: Over extended operation, crusher components will wear and tear. The adjusting ring compensates for wear by adjusting the liner to compensate for this dimensional change, ensuring the discharge opening remains within the appropriate range, ensuring proper crusher operation and consistent product particle size.
3. Protecting Equipment: The adjusting ring also provides a degree of equipment protection. When the crusher encounters an uncrushable foreign object and overloads, the adjusting ring move to relieve some of the pressure, preventing damage to critical parts.
4. Installation and Fixing: The adjusting ring installs and secures the bowl liner in the cone crusher. It provides a stable mounting base for the bowl liner and securely fastens it to the crusher through a special structural design and connection method.
5. Overload Protection: In a spring cone crusher, the adjusting ring works in conjunction with the spring system. When an unbreakable hard object enters the crushing chamber or an overload occurs, the spring forces the movable cone downward, absorbing and cushioning the additional impact force and preventing damage to the equipment.
