Determine the crushing efficiency: the swing frequency, stroke and jaw plate tooth shape of the pitman directly affect the material crushing speed and particle size uniformity;   2. Affect the life of the equipment: the selection of wear-resistant materials and structural design determine the wear resistance of the pitman under high-frequency impact;   3. Balance energy consumption and cost: efficient pitman design can reduce useless work loss and reduce long-term operation and maintenance costs.   Common problems and maintenance points of pitman   1. Common faults   - Jaw plate wear: when the material hardness is high or the feed is uneven, the jaw plate tooth tip is easy to wear, resulting in a decrease in crushing efficiency;   - Bearing damage: caused by poor bearing lubrication, the bearing lubricant needs to be replaced in time according to the cycle;   - pitman fracture: long-term overload operation or material defects may cause the pitman frame to fracture. 2. Maintenance recommendations Pre-startup inspection: 1. Check the tension of the V-belt. 2. Check the wear of the liner. If the wear limit is reached, it must be replaced immediately. 2. Check the jaw plate bolts 3. Check the tightening of the hexagonal bolt. 4. Check whether the protective rubber plate of the toggle plate is positioned and in good condition. 5. Check the tie rod nut In-operation inspection: 1. The bearing temperature is within the normal range 2. The tie rod spring is normal Daily inspection: 1. Lubricate once every 40 working hours). The required amount of grease is shown in Section 5.3.3 of the manual. 2. Lubricate the discharge port adjustment device and check the condition of its rubber cover (discharge port mechanical adjustment). 3. Check the wear of the cheek plate and replace it if necessary. 4. Check the centering, straightness and cracks of the toggle plate. 5. Check the toggle seat and rubber seal. Clean the surface of the toggle seat if necessary. 6. Check the tightening of the frame fixing bolts. 7. Check the condition of the flywheel. 8. Check the wear of the rubber shock-absorbing pad 9.
